We worked with SouthWestSensor to design & develop a water test. A novel wet chemistry-based droplet microfluidic sensors for high frequency and low-cost monitoring of water, wastewater, and marine environments. We were commissioned to work alongside SWS’s engineers to develop the product configuration of the electronic enclosure and replaceable cartridge. It was critical the cartridge could be easily replaced by the user, developing the automatic engagement of the two elements. Careful consideration was paid to the design for manufacture of the product, ensuring all the components could be injection moulded for long-term production.
